Since it is the FIRST WEEK of FIRST GRADE, we are practicing our LISTENING SKILLS more than our ACTUAL READING SKILLS.  We are listening to LOTS of READ ALOUDS and then completing lessons that go along with each one.  Next week  we will be getting the FIRST 7 SIGHT WORDS that we need to learn!  These are IMPORTANT to practice each week at home!  Sight word tests will be on the LAST DAY of EACH WEEK starting NEXT WEE
